Workplace Benefits Program Committee
The Board consists of a broad representation of United States insurance companies actively engaged in writing new business in workplace benefits markets. Representation shall recognize companies by size, geographical location, and varied lines of business with opportunity provided wherever possible for inclusion of the major writers in the workplace benefits markets. The Board will act as the advisory board for LIMRA’s workplace benefits members.
Target Membership: Membership in the Workplace Benefits Advisory Board is limited to industry representatives who hold chief marketing, market research, operations, product, sales/distribution, or strategy officer position in the group insurance, health care, or worksite division of an organization which maintains current membership status with LIMRA.
Typical Topics Discussed: Drive LIMRA’s research focus as it pertains to the group, worksite and healthcare market to ensure the members in these markets receive full potential benefit from the research Identify unmet needs of member companies in the group, worksite and healthcare market and explore opportunities to provide a solution through LIMRA Keep fully informed of LIMRA’s pertinent research and activities and assist in dissemination of knowledge of those research and activities within member’s organization as well as the group insurance, health-care and worksite industry Provide a forum to promote cooperation, coordination, exchange of ideas and to address range of issues including distribution, product development, marketing, operations, regulatory environment, industry innovation, and the need to promote employee benefits and financial protection products Secondary mission is to provide for an annual Group and Worksite Benefits Conference
