Francisco holds a degree in economics from the Catholic University of Argentina and completed his postgraduate studies at IESE, Spain. He has held a variety of prestigious positions over the span of his career, including Director General of Insurance Companies and managers of pension funds, chairman of the Center for Research and Training Insurance (CIFA), Secretary General and Executive Director of AVIRA, and Superintendent of Pension Fund Administrators and Pension. He is currently President of the Argentina Association of Insurance Companies.

Prior to joining Willis in 2014, Verónica was Commercial Direct Marketing Director for MetLife Brasil. During her career, she has also served in leadership roles at ALICO Insurance Co. Argentina, ACE Insurance Co., Caja de Ahorro y Seguro Argentina, and CIGNA Insurance Company Argentina. Verónica earned her MBA at the Universidad Austral IAE Business School.

He has worked in the insurance and pension market for 20 years with both Caixa Vida e Previdência and Brasilprev. Alongside his current executive role, he holds the position of Executive Officer at FENAPREVI.

Cassese has more than three decades of experience in the Insurance Industry, and is currently Independent Director of Supervielle Seguros, Argentina. He has also worked as Private Consultant since retiring from AIG in 2011.  He held various positions with a large range of responsibilities over the course of his career, and in 1999 was promoted to Regional Vice President where he oversaw the Group Life & Health business in Latin America and was responsible for Strategic Planning, Distribution, and the Top and Bottom line results. In 2002 he took over as CEO of ALICO Argentina & Uruguay, and over the next eight years led both companies to excel as market leaders, pioneering the development of Mass Marketing of Accident & Health products. He earned his Certified Public Accountant & Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Francisco Valenzuela joined BNP Paribas Cardif in 1997 where he was appointed CEO in Chile, a position that he carried until January 2012 with the responsibility to manage the first steps of the company in the country, building strong partnerships in retail and banking, and developing distribution channels. In early 2010, he became Head of BNP Paribas Cardif Latin America. Following his experience in Chile, he took the commission to lead de development of the Company in the 6 countries of the region (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico), and since January 2012 he is member of the board of Directors of BNP Paribas Cardif worldwide. Prior to BNP Paribas Cardif, Francisco worked with La Interamericana, an insurance company of the AIG Group, and at Cigna.

Alain has a diverse career in banking, credit cards, and financial services. At Efma (an international association of 3,300 retail financial services institutions from 130 countries), he is responsible for directing Cards & Payments Council and the Insurance Council, managing four annual conferences, and recruiting new members. His previous experience includes establishing the Spanish operation of Société de Prévoyance Bancaire (SPB), where he partnered with international underwriters to create new products and also developed loyalty programs with partnering banks. Prior to that he was Marketing Manager of Card Products for Visa Cards, Paris. He helped triple their card base in just 5 years, developed new products, and also supported staff training at member banks. Alain earned his MBA at the City University of New York.

Juan Carlos is responsible for the Bancassurance strategy of Suramericana in Colombia, as well as its subsidiaries in Central America and the Caribbean. He began at Suramericana as an actuary for the team that started bancassurance distribution, and for the last 12 years has now been at the forefront of the consolidation of the different channels.  Under his leadership, Suramericana has become a market leader for Bancassurance in Colombia.  He is an Industrial Engineer with a specialization in International Marketing, and has taken numerous courses and trainings related to mass sales, finance, structuring and channel development.

For more than 25 years, Carlos has worked for in the insurance and banking sectors in several positions as officer in various insurance companies; most recently as director of AXA Corporate University leading a new distribution channel, overseeing 300 direct agents in two different cities.

He was Risk Management Director in Grupo Financiero Promex Finamex, and prior to this, he was an insurance agent for Grupo Nacional Provincial, holding important positions in sales and attending Conventions every year.

He served as co-Chair of AMIS´ Distribution Channels Committee, participated as a spokesperson promoting an insurance culture in national media in programs such as Fernanda Familiar, was a columnist for Forbes Magazine and was on TV for more than 2 years in Excelsior TV with journalist Rodrigo Pacheco.

Academically, Carlos has a degree in Business Administration from La Salle University, a degree in Psychology from the University of the Valley of Mexico, a Master´s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. in Neuropsychoanalysis from the Intercontinental University.

All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received before March 21, 2016, will be refunded, less a $75 processing fee. Cancellations received from March 21, 2016, to April 8, 2016, will be refunded, less a $275 processing and administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after April 8, 2016.

In the event that a scheduled meeting or event is cancelled by LIMRA/LOMA for any reason, LIMRA/LOMA shall refund any conference registration fees that have been paid by the registrant. Under no circumstances, however, shall LIMRA/LOMA be liable to the registrant for any other expenses including, but not limited to, airfare and hotel expenses incurred by the registrant.
