Highlights

There are many factors at play in the employee benefits space, and navigating all of them for the best outcomes is difficult. This is an opportunity for LIMRA member insurance companies and technology service providers to participate in an open discussion on how to cohesively work together and define better outcomes. Our goal is to connect participants with peers and technology purveyors to learn, network, and share innovative ideas to help identify potential solutions to existing challenges.

Erin Casey is the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Solutions at Guardian Insurance Company, leading the management and integration of Guardian’s benefit technology and distribution partnerships. With 20 years of industry experience, she spent the majority of her career leading teams in commercial insurance operations and project management.  Erin holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration from Cedar Crest College as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bellevue University.

John Dolan

Lead Counsel, Commercial & Government Markets, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America

John Dolan is the Lead Counsel for the Commercial and Government Markets at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (“Guardian”) in New York.  In his role, John oversees all legal matters relating to Guardian’s group commercial products, including dental, life, disability, supplemental health, absence management and vision products, as well as Guardian’s government dental and vision programs. John joined Guardian in 2008 after ten years at EmblemHealth, Inc. in New York most recently as Assistant General Counsel.  Previously, John worked at Oxford Health Plans in Norwalk, Connecticut and private practice in Boston.  John earned a BA at Georgetown University and JD at Boston College Law School.

With almost 30 years in the industry, Bruce is responsible for leading compliance activities for ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and other state and federal regulatory and compliance driven solutions for Businessolver.  Prior to joining Businessolver two years ago, Bruce served as HW Compliance Practice Leader for Conduent.  Bruce is a frequent national speaker on topics related to Employer Group Health Plan Compliance.  Businessolver is a national Benefits Administration solution provider that provides leading edge technology in coordination with a participant-focused customer experience.

Since co-founding Selerix in 2002, Mr. Griffin has presided over the company's development from a small start-up into a major provider of employee engagement and benefit administration technology. Distributed directly, through resellers, and carrier licensees, the company’s BenSelect system has an active user base of 8 million employees, from groups of all sizes.  With over 30 years of experience in software product development, Mr. Griffin has held leadership positions in several technology ventures. As lead developer and later Vice President of Software Development for Micrografx, Mr. Griffin is credited with developing the first retail product for Microsoft Windows and was recognized in 1994 by Microsoft founder Bill Gates as a Windows Pioneer. Mr. Griffin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1984.

Brian Wilson is the Vice President, Field Development at Bankers Life in Chicago, where he has accountability for agent and advisor training, field leadership development and field facing technology solutions for the 4,500 agents in the Bankers Life system. Brian joined Bankers Life after 15 years with Northwestern Mutual, where he led a wholesaling and internal sales support function responsible for growing sales of NM’s risk and investment products through the company’s 5,000 advisors. He has spent his entire career coaching and developing advisors and is a vocal advocate for the importance advisors and their impact on the outcomes of individual investors.

All cancellations must be received in writing. Notify customer.service@limra.com. Cancellations received before January 14, 2020 will be refunded, less a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received from January 14, 2020 to January 28, 2020 will be refunded, less a $300 processing and administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after January 28, 2020.

In the event that a scheduled meeting or event is canceled by LIMRA for any reason, LIMRA shall refund any conference registration fees that have been paid by the registrant. Under no circumstances, however, shall LIMRA be liable to the registrant for any other expenses including, but not limited to, airfare and hotel expenses incurred by the registrant.

Exhibitor Registration

Cancellations received before December 12, 2019, will be refunded, less 10 percent of the cost of the exhibitor fee. Cancellations received from December 12, 2019 to January 3, 2020, are subject to an administrative charge equal to 50 percent of the cost of the exhibitor fee. No refunds will be issued after January 3, 2020.

If you receive any unsolicited or suspicious email or phone call about a hotel booking in conjunction with this meeting, our advice is not to click on it, but delete the email immediately. In the case of a phone call, never give out your credit card information. Our designated conference hotels will never call you unless you contact them first.

Identify yourself as part of the LIMRA Enrollment Technology Strategy Seminar to receive the special group rate of $199 single/double plus applicable sales taxes. Reservation requests received after January 13, 2020 will be accepted based on room availability. The group rate will be offered three days prior and three days after the conference subject to availability of rooms at the time of your reservation.  Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card.
