Highlights

The LIMRA Creative Connections Award, established in 2017, recognizes and rewards marketing and creative excellence, innovation and achievement. This award highlights best practices in financial services marketing. Award winners will be determined based on how well they demonstrate the ability to integrate multiple marketing tools and channels to build connections, as well as track success metrics to support business objectives for their company.

Lisa joined LL Global as the head of Marketing in early 2016. She oversees the marketing efforts across the organization, supporting a number of internal clients including domestic and international research, assessment and development, education and training, conferences, and member relations. She leads a team of multimedia, public relations, communications, online, strategy, design, and social media professionals focused on creating compelling and engaging campaigns to help internal clients get their products, services, and unique solutions in front of the right member companies.

Prior to joining LL Global, Lisa spent 15 years in the financial services industry, with previous roles including marketing director of retirement plan services at Lincoln Financial Group, vice president of communications strategy at EMPOWER Retirement (formerly J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services), and director of participant communications at Prudential Retirement. She holds an M.B.A. in marketing.

Principal Research Consultant, LIMRA and LOMA

Alison Salka joined LIMRA in 2012 and led the member benefits and research division from April 2014 until April 2024. She was responsible for driving the strategy and direction of its global research program. As principal research consultant, she is focused on thought leadership designed to help companies better understand industry issues and trends. She is a frequent industry speaker and has testified before the Department of Labor. Before joining LIMRA, she worked at Prudential and MassMutual. She has a Master’s degree from the College of William and Mary and Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
