Sumit joined Cognizant in 2015 and has held several different roles focusing on global training. Over the years he has trained over 8,000 staff at various organizations and has received numerous accolades and awards including:

  • 2023 Ambassador of Education Award for Excellence in Risk Management and Insurance Education from The Institutes
  • Winner of multiple Brandon Hall Awards in 2023, 2021 & 2020
  • Winner at NHRD Best of Breed-Pitch your Practice Award 2023 in Individual category
  • Recognized by LOMA|LIMRA for outstanding contribution to industry education and partnership in 2022
  • Winner at the Training Industry Award 2022
  • First non-US citizen to be certified by Society of Insurance Trainers & Education in Minnesota with Insurance Training Professional designation.
