Kartik Sakthivel, PhD, MS-IT/MS-CS, MBA, PGC-IQ

As chief information officer for LIMRA and LOMA, Kartik Sakthivel is responsible for developing the information technology strategic direction for the enterprise. In this capacity, he directs and manages computing and information technology policies, programs and schedules for business and enterprise systems, and manages information services to meet LIMRA and LOMA’s corporate goals and objectives.

An industry thought leader, he champions the use of technology to improve the revenue, profitability, and efficiency of the organization. Joining LIMRA and LOMA in 2017, Sakthivel has broad industry experience, most recently as director of technology at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

He holds a doctorate in Computer and Information Sciences with a focus on AI and Information Quality from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems/Information Technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Mike Allee

Mike Allee has over 20 years of executive leadership experience with both large international and mid-sized domestic insurance companies. He has strategically designed, implemented and/or consolidated every type of insurance administrative and financial system during his insurance career. He holds a business administration degree from Southwest Baptist University, and is a designated Fellow at the Life Management Institute (FLMI, from the Life Office Management Association) and a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP, from the Project Management Institute).

• Implements transformational systems, portals and platform improvements
• Successfully led up and down stream integrations, data migrations and systems
• Program managed many large scale initiatives including an international business expansion
• Authored strategic implementation plans that placed a premium on “new initiatives” and “cost reductions” simultaneously

As president of our strategic data migration partners UCT, Mike has a vision for the future of consulting by assisting customers to solve challenging business problems with their systems. He’s a thought leader and frequent speaker. His leadership and team has helped to successfully complete more than 200 life, annuity, health, and P&C data conversion projects which has established UCT as a world leading authority in that area.

Megan Kuczynski

Megan Kuczynski has over 20 years of senior management experience at the top global business media companies including United Business Media (Informa), Penton Media, Diversified Communications, and Reed Elsevier. She has led Trade show 200 city-wide conventions, vertically themed events, and exclusive invite-only CXO conferences in domestic and global markets. She has a proven track record in growing technology portfolios and is skilled in launching new businesses as well as acquisitions. The theme of Megan's career has centered around disruptive technology. Recently, Megan served as President of Insurtech Connect (ITC). Under her leadership, the conference was awarded Trade show Executive's Fastest 50, a recognition of the fastest growing events held in the U.S. In January, the largest global network of insurance professionals, entrepreneurs and investors, London-based Insurtech Insights, appointed Megan President of Insurtech Insights USA, and with that appointment came the announcement that ITI has chosen Stamford, CT as its U.S. headquarters. Megan will focus on building Insurtech Insights USA and its annual conference in June at the Javits Center in NYC. Megan is a frequent speaker at international conferences and the author of bi-monthly Insurtech Talks for Modern Insurance Magazine.
