Chief Marketing Officer, Brighthouse Financial

As senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Brighthouse Financial, Meghan is responsible for the company’s marketing and branding strategy. She also oversees the leveraging of sales enablement, strategic data analytics and insights, and digital platforms to support the company’s top-line growth strategy. Prior to her current role, she served as the company’s chief procurement officer, responsible for strategic sourcing, third-party supplier risk management, and ensuring an efficient end-to-end experience for employees and suppliers.

Before joining Brighthouse Financial, Meghan served as vice president of sales compensation and business initiatives for MetLife’s U.S. Retail business. Sher began her tenure at MetLife in 2003 as a member of its financial accounting organization and held other roles including head of U.S. business planning and projections. Prior to joining MetLife, Doscher was a senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University and is a certified public accountant.

Until retiring in March 2025, Ramon Jones was Nationwide’s Executive Vice President–Chief Marketing Officer. As CMO, Ramon was responsible for brand and marketing strategy, advertising, creative services, social media, and corporate communications. His experience in numerous leadership roles across marketing, strategy, and the company’s business operations made him uniquely qualified to promote and protect the Nationwide brand.

Prior to becoming CMO in 2019, Ramon held several leadership roles, including Regional Vice President of Nationwide’s Western U.S. operations, Associate Vice President for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Marketing leader of Nationwide’s Property & Casualty businesses, and Financial Services Marketing leader.

Prior to joining Nationwide, Ramon was an engagement manager with Accenture’s financial services strategy practice. Ramon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
