WINDSOR, Conn., August 21, 2024 — Artificial intelligence (AI) takes the main stage at the 2024 LIMRA Annual Conference in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 15 – 17. When LIMRA surveyed life insurance executives on their major challenges in 2023, growth and technology topped the list (33% and 28% respectively). For that reason, LIMRA enlisted a panel of experts to discuss the potential impact AI will have on the financial services industry at this year’s event.

Moderated by Margaret Meister, president and CEO, Symetra, panelists include:

The panelists will debate AI’s effect on the financial services industry and explore its transformative potential. Attending leaders will gain deeper insights into how AI will revolutionize their strategies, enhance their customer experience, and potentially strengthen their business operations.

“No doubt, artificial intelligence is here to stay” said David Levenson, president and CEO, LIMRA and LOMA. “This timely panel will equip industry leaders with new insights on how they can further use AI to reach more people, drive better results and create exceptional customer experiences.”

In addition to the AI general session, event attendees will have opportunities to attend one of the many technology-focused concurrent sessions. These sessions will focus on unlocking the promise of AI, data readiness needs, the evolution of InsurTech, technology’s impact on life insurance, annuities, and workplace benefits distribution, and data privacy.

The LIMRA Annual Conference is one of the largest gatherings of executives from across the financial services industry. More than 1,000 industry leaders are expected to attend.
