Belisario Fernández

Belisario has more than 30 years of experience working with the analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of world-class solutions for the insurance industry in the Americas and Northern Europe. His extensive knowledge of the insurance market has been obtained through key roles both on the consulting side as well as in the top-tier insurance companies in Latin America. He joined the Equisoft team in 2020 and is currently responsible for developing new relationships with insurers in the Latin America region, helping to tackle key business issues with innovative solutions. Belisario graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Universidad José María Vargas in Caracas, Venezuela, and has acquired several certifications, including: PMP from PMI, ITIL certified by ITSMF, Six Sigma black belt certified by ASQ and SW quality engineer certified by ASQ.

Juan Mazzini

Juan’s career spans more than 25 years in the insurance and banking IT industries. In his current role he is responsible for driving research and providing advisory to C-level executives in the financial services industry in themes such as fintech, insurtech, innovation, emerging technology and business transformation. He has developed a deep understanding of core and noncore systems projects and operational business models, and used that expertise to advise firms based in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.   Prior to joining Celent, Juan was Corporate Vice President at Sistran, where he directly contributed to expanding its presence throughout 14 countries, including the US and key Latin American markets of Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Mauricio Monroy

Mauricio is an IT expert with over 20 years of experience across the financial services, insurance and other industries. A client relationship expert, and software engineer graduate from La Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, he also holds a master’s degree in business administration from HEC Montréal, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  Since joining us in 2014, Mauricio’s library of experience in software development, IT solution integration, business process improvement, project management and client relationships are indispensable to our team and customers in the Latin America and Spain region where he is dedicated to propel Equisoft’s expansion by creating new business opportunities and leading regional operations.
