LIMRA/SOA
Experience Studies Pro Program

Experience Studies Pro from the SOA Research Institute and LIMRA offers a wide range of comprehensive industry experience studies covering diverse insurance product lines.

Continuing to Expand the Value of Industry Experience Studies

LIMRA and the Society of Actuaries (SOA) Research Institute are expanding the Experience Studies Pro program and implementing a new subscription model in 2025 to better service members and the industry.

This new subscription program currently has commitments from 30 life insurance and annuity companies, — representing nearly 80% of in-force premiums in the U.S. Together, these companies will help guide the industry to produce experience studies in support of adequate pricing and reserving across multiple product lines and risk factors.

Under this new model, LIMRA and the SOA Research Institute plan to release 5-7 studies each year with access made available to all subscribing companies.
