We need to understand the conditions of success to achieve it. A recent LIMRA-EY Experienced Advisor Survey gives insight into many ways that the most successful advisors differ from their peers. While we cannot predict who will become a successful financial advisor, we can examine the characteristics of those who have achieved success.

Meet the Project Director

Carol L. Perkins, ASA, CLU, ChFC
Carol is responsible for LIMRA’s annual study examining wholesaler compensation and company practices in the U.S. and Canada. She also supports research projects on independent sales professionals and intermediaries, and is a research staff representative to LIMRA’s Financial Management Research Committee. Prior to joining Distribution Research at LIMRA in 2017, she held positions in Product and Distribution Finance at Lincoln Financial and was a member of LIMRA’s consulting practice. Carol received her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
