Kartik Sakthivel, PhD, MS-IT/MS-CS, MBA, PGC-IQ

Kartik Sakthivel é o Vice-presidente e Diretor de Tecnologia (CIO) da LIMRA e LOMA e é responsável por desenvolver a direção estratégica de tecnologia da informação para a empresa. Nessa função, ele dirige e gerencia políticas, programas e cronogramas de tecnologia da informação e toda a parte de processamento de dados para nossos sistemas corporativos, e gerencia serviços de informação para atender aos objetivos corporativos da LIMRA e LOMA. Como líder de opinião na indústria, Kartik defende o uso da tecnologia para melhorar a receita, a lucratividade e a eficiência da organização. Ele ingressou na LIMRA e LOMA em 2017 e possui ampla experiência na indústria, sendo a mais recentemente como Diretor de Tecnologia na Liberty Mutual Insurance. Kartik possui um Mestrado em Ciência da Computação em Sistemas de Informação / Tecnologia da Informação, bem como uma Maestría em Administração de Empresas pela Southern New Hampshire University.

Emi Zambada

As Associate Vice President, Annuity Business Intelligence for Nationwide Financial (NF), Emi Zambada currently leads the team responsible for creating business solutions based on cutting-edge technology powered by data and analytics to achieve NF strategic priorities. He is passionate about developing ethical and effective Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based solutions and making NF the most customer-centric company in the world.

Recognized as a thought leader in the AI industry and Latino community, he was recognized by Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) with the Technology & Innovation Leader Award, CDO Magazine´s “40 Under Forty Data Leaders in 2022” a is a recipient of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility’s “2022 Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers Award”. Emi joined Nationwide in 2018 and previously served as NF Advanced Analytics Leader, and Director, Data & Analytics. He acquired a breadth of business experience over the past 18 years serving in leadership roles at Whirlpool, Siemens, Bimbo and Deloitte where he led global teams (North America, Europe, LatAm & Asia) in delivering analytics solutions in fields like Financial Services, Cybersecurity, Operations and Finance.

A decisive leader who invests in and develops a strong team to implement and operationalize strategy and achieve profitable results. An experienced leader with significant analytical and logical problem-solving skills. An engaged, adaptable, forward-thinking change agent, with roots as a start-up entrepreneur. Emi earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and his MBA degree from TecMilenio University. He holds multiple technology related certifications.
